There's a popular saying that the windows of a home represent it's eyes. In fact, the windows that I drew on houses as a kid always did look like eyes, and the door like the mouth. In order to properly “dress” those eyes, the greatest detail you can dress them with are fabulously hung curtains. This can make a huge difference in making your home feel spacious and flamboyant. During winter days , especially, using all the wall space above and around your windows will make a huge difference in making the interior look much more brighter.
Acquiring made to measure curtains will make sure that they are the right width and height. Hanging them as high as possible above the window frame is always a good idea. When considering width, however, you have to make sure they completely cover the windows, yet still look good when they are closed.
